Notice of Partial Exhibit Changes
We are planning to change some of the exhibits in this exhibition. Therefore, the museum will be temporarily closed from 9:00 AM to the morning of Thursday, March 12th to allow for the change. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to those who had planned to visit, and we appreciate your understanding.
The photo shows the final part of the teachings written by Hiroie himself, which is on display until today. This letter, dated 1617, is written by Lord Hiroie to his two sons, advising them on how to prepare themselves, and among its bullet points is the advice to cherish their connections with Tokugawa Ieyasu, Hidetada, and Kuroda Nagamasa.
The handwritten copy will be available until today, but from the afternoon of Friday the 12th, a copy of the instruction by Lord Tsunemasa, a descendant of Lord Hiroie, will be on display.
Please continue to enjoy the “Hiroie’s Sekigahara” exhibition.
[Temporary Closure] Thursday, March 12th, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
