April Gallery Talk Announcement

The exhibition “The Objects Cherished by the Kikkawa clan” exhibition” is currently on display, and we will be holding a gallery talk tomorrow, Saturday the 25th! Admission is required; no reservation is necessary. Anyone is welcome to attend. The photo shows the “Deer Screen” by Unkoku Togan, which is being exhibited at our museum for the first time in nine years. This folding screen is large enough to occupy one wall of the exhibition room, and there are signs that it was remade on a larger scale with gold leaf applied around the edges. Please also pay attention to the realistically depicted deer!
